1. Meeting was called to order at 6:31pm
2. Approval of 06/13/2024 Minutes
a. Correction to typo "SOR vs SRO" for school resource officer
b. Motion to approve meeting notes; approved
3. Community Engagement Coordinator's Report
a. CPTED "Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design" with local business
b. National Night Out -August 6
i. 10 parties registered
c. Met with Blue Bridge
i. Working to get this in Tukwila PD
d. Tenant event with Seattle Exchange (bus park in Tukwila)
4. Chief Updates
a. Chief Dreyer provided update on staffing and budget/budget initiatives for upcoming cycle
b. Reviewed hot spots in the community
5. SPIDR report
a. Deputy Chief Lund presented survey responses from last month
6. Word on the Street
a. Encampment update
7. Good of the Order
a. John- possibility of a self-defense class?
i. Discussed potential barriers of liability, cost to pay officers if offered through Tukwila PD
