1. Meeting called to order at 6:32pm
2. Approval Of 05/09/24 Minutes
a. Motion to approve meetings notes; approved
3. Community Engagement Coordinator's Report
a. Met with Embassy Suites, walked the property and gave suggestions on how they can make the
property more visible and safe
b. Similar meeting with Seattle Exchange, listed to issues/problems on property, provided
suggestions and praises
c. Small business resource fair with chamber of commerce
d. Working on National Night Out
i. Two applications so far, will reach out to those who signed up last year
ii. North lot hosting Night Out next year, potential project for COPCAB
4. Chief's Updates
a. Chief Dreyer provided update on staffing and budget process for 2025-2026
5. COPCAB question: any questions from your neighbors?
a. John- noticed people with no license plate/sticker in the rear, is there something we can do?
i. If vehicle is stationary you can call it in, if on the move not much police can do
b. John- Street zombies are a concern.
i. Call 911 for welfare check
c. John- need for speed limit sign on 130th
d. John- police dept building is not friendly
e. Scott- KN9 dog at school
i. SROs - reached agreement and had summit with students
f. Katrina- do we have data on the traffic cam on 144th? What has been the impact of that?
i. Seen a decline in the number of violations
g. Katrina- what is one thing you'd like to highlight that we can share with our neighbors?

i. We are brothers/sisters/fathers/mothers, etc ourselves. Often the perception is the
police are business first but over time the officers have shown we actually care. Keep in
mind that we care and are here to help.

a. City council in discussion about changing the zoning to give more opportunity for pot shops to
open in Tukwila
