P -103 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, ADDING A NEW SECTION SIX TO ORDINANCE NO. 1394 TO DEFINE THE TERM "THE GWC AFFILIATE" USED IN SAID ORDINANCE. WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 1394 of the City of Tukwila, passed by the City Council on June 16, 1986, consents to a transfer of a cable TV franchise from Group W Cable, Inc. to a wholly owned subsidiary of Group W Cable, Inc. to be known as "the GWC Affiliate," and WHEREAS, the term "the GWC Affiliate" was used in Ordinance No. 1394 to describe the wholly owned subsidiary of Group W Cable, Inc. because the wholly owned subsidiary had not yet been formed at the time of the ordinance, and WHEREAS, the City has been advised that the wholly owned subsidiary of Group W Cable, Inc. has now been formed and that the name of said subsidiary is GWC Seattle, Inc., and WHEREAS, the City Council deems it desirable to clarify references in Ordinance No. 1394 to reflect that the term "the GWC Affiliate" means GWC Seattle, Inc., now, therefore, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. GWC Affiliate Defined. A new section 6 is hereby added to Ordinance No. 1394 of the City of Tukwila to read as follows: Section 6. GWC Affiliate Defined. As used in this ordinance, the term "the GWC Affiliate" means GWC Seattle, Inc. Section 2. Effective Date. This ordinance shall be published in the official newspaper of the City, and shall take effect and be in full force five (5) days after the date of publication.
