NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Tukwila City Council will hold a Quasi -Judicial public
hearing on the item listed below on October 21, 2024 beginning at 7:00 p.m. at the following

REQUEST: The applicant has submitted a proposal to amend the City of Tukwila
Comprehensive Plan Map and the Tukwila Zoning Map to rezone a 4.4-acre parcel from Low
Density Residential (LDR) to Medium Density Residential (MDR).
LOCATION: 6250 S 151st St. (Tax parcel number: 3597000400)
(Quasi -Judicial)
This proposal was previously considered and denied by Tukwila City Council. However,
following a Land Use Petition appeal, the King County Superior Court has remanded the matter
to the Tukwila City Council to reconsider the merits of the rezone application. The Tukwila City
Council will be holding another open record hearing regarding the rezone proposal's
consistency with the Tukwila Municipal Code and issue a new decision based on substantial
evidence in the record.

All interested persons are invited to be present to voice approval, disapproval, or opinions on
this issue. For those unable to attend in person, you may submit written testimony to the City
Clerk's office until 5:00 p.m. on the day of the hearing, that is October 21, 2024.

October 21, 2024 at 7:00 PM in the Tukwila City Hall Council
Chambers located at 6200 Southcenter Boulevard, Tukwila,
WA, to discuss the following:
An amendment to the Comprehensive Plan and Zoning Map
