Those present were Mayor John R. Walkup and Councilmen B. F. Baker J. R. Cumming, E. F. Greene., J.$. Storey.,and August Thies. All records being in the hands of the State Examiner, a motion was made seconded and carried that the Council adjourn subject to the call of the Chair. January ,21 1932. Storey, an August Thies. The minutes of the regular meeting of December 3rd 1931. aid the minutes of the regular meeting of January 7th. 1932. were read by the Clerk and approved. The chairman of the finance committee reported that all the bills had been approved as presented. A motion that all the bills be allowed as recomended by the finance committee and that warr- ants be drawn for their respective amounts was made seconded and carried COMMUNICATIONS Ttlir'TYeei8terl!s monthly financial report was read by the Clerk and ordered filed. The report of the Water. Surt. was read and ordered filed. Notice of the location of the registrations books for 1932 was read. Two lettere from the County Auditor regarding registration and election were read OLD BUSINESS The chairman of the committee on education reported the results of the committee s visit with the School board relative to the lack of care being given the Steam slant at the school. Councilman Green was instructed to get additional information re- garding boiler inspection in fourth class Towns. NEW BUSINESS The Superintendent of Roads reported new gravel had been placed at various sections of roads through, out the Town. A motion was made seconded and carried that a committee comprising the clerk,councilmen,Green and Baker and if possible sir.. Toni Clark and Mr..Dasi.g of Foster., call upon the proper attbhotitiss relative to the opening of Rainier Ave. or that street in Foster connecting with Rainier Ave on the South anf the foster high school on the north. No other business appearing the Council adjourned Time. 9.35 P.M. approied Clerk of the Town of Tukwila Mayor.
