PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Tukwila City Council will hold a public hearing on
Monday, April 23, 2012 beginning at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Tukwila Citv Hall,
6200 Southcenter Blvd., Tukwila, WA to consider the following:
Implementation of a mandatory garbage collection program for the City of
Tukwila. This program would reduce the overall residential garbage rates,
provide for a basic level of service that includes monthly garbage collection,
unlimited every -other -week recycling, access to the Citv's annual curbside
collection of bulkv items /white goods (furniture, appliances, etc.), and would
help curb illegal dumping accumulation of garbage in private properties.

All interested persons are invited to be present to voice approval, disapproval, or opinions on
this issue. For those unable to attend in person, you may submit written testimony to the City
Clerk's office until 5:00 p.m. on the day of the meeting. y
