After a brief recess called by the Mayor for the auditing of the
bills The Council was called to order. to hear the report of the finance
,ommittee. The Chairman of the finance committee reported that all bills
tiad been approved as presented. A motion that all the bills be aiio ,ved
as recomended ?^y the finance committee and warrants dravvn for their
respective amounts was made seconded and carried.

The Treasurer'a monthly financial r.erart was read by the clerk
and arrearved The report of the Water Sunt Was read and ordered filed.
A communication from the United States Commission for the Celebration
Df the Tll:c Hundredth Anniversary of the Perth of Geor.r was- .ington was
read by the Clerk and referred to .he committee on '"Iu.blic Welfare.
Cld Business
The ;proposed ordinance creating R Street Su? was returned
fron the Street Committee with the recomendation that it be held over
for action by the new Council.
