EASEMENT FOR UTILITY
The Grantor, WE Tongue and Elsie Tongue his wif6, f'r and in consideration of the
sup of ONE DOLLAR ($1.00 in hand paid, receipt ereof is hereby acknowledged, do
hereby grant, sell and nvey to the City of Tukwila, Washington, a municipal
corporation, Grantee, its successors and assigns, an easement and right -of -way,
over, through, under, across, upon, and in the following described real property
situate in King County, Washington, TO -WIT:
Portion of Foster Stephen Donation Claim No. 38
Beginning on southerly margin of County Road No. 1028 South 29 24'00" East 346.5'
from its intersection with the west line of Section 14, Township 23 North, Range
4 East, W.M.; thence southeasterly at right angles to said road, 220'; thence
southeasterly at right angles thereto 96' thence northeasterly at right angles
220'; thence northwesterly along said road 96' to beginning. Less portion beginning
on northwest corner thereof; thence southeasterly along southerly margin of said
County Road 96'; thence southwesterly at right angles to road 130'; thence
north 48 14'19" West 96'; thence North 41 4541" East 130' to Point of Beginning.
A permanent utility easement.. The northeasterly 15' of the above described
property. TOGETHER WITH a temporary construction easement 10' in width lying
adjacent to and southwesterly of the above described permanent easement.
for the construction, operation, maintenance and /or repair and /or replacement of
a utility line or lines and appurtenances thereto, together with the right of
ingress and egress to and from said easement and right -of -way for all purposes
necessary and related thereto.
This easement is granted with the understanding that the property
affected will be returned to a condition equal to its original condition upon
completion of construction. The Grantee also agrees to indemnify and save harm-
less the Grantors from any liability arising from the construction contemplated
here in.
