The grant of easment over P. S. P. L. Co. transmission right
of -way at Clarence Ave. was read and accepted.
A new street lighting contract extending over a term of 10 years
increasing the lights from 40W to 60W and increasing the monthly rate
from 85 cents to $1.00 was read. After discussion by members of the
Council of an adverse character the matter was laid on the table.
Messrs Anderson, Moore and Wynstra of School District 144 were
given the floor and explained the necessity of the district voting
the 10 mill levy.
On motion the Council then voted to recess until Sept. 21, 1933
September 21, 1933.
The Council reconvened at 8:o5 with the following members
present Mayor Walkup Councilmen Baker, Green, Naylor, Story
and Thompson.

adopted as read and the Clerk ordered to post same with call for

Ths regular mobthly meeting of the Town Council of the Town
of Tukwila was held in the Town Hall on the above date at 8:00 P.M.
Those present were Mayor John R. Walkup and Councilman B.E. Baker
E. F. Green, J. R. Naylor, S. J. Storey and August Thies.
The minutes of the last meeting were read by the Clerk and
approved.

After a brief recess called by the Mayor for the auditing of
Ow—the bills the Council was called tb order to hear the report of the
Finance Committee. The Chairman of the Finance Committee reported
that all the bills had been approved as presented. A motion that all
the bills be allowed as rscoiz;snded by the FinancsCommittes and warrants
drawn for their rsspictivs amounts was made seconded and carried.

OLD BUSINESS NONE
NEW BUSINESS Mr. Donway requested that the Council take some steps
to seours a right of way amiss the Puget Sound Property at Tirst Ave
for a street outlet ditect to the highway. The Clerk was instructed to
look into the matter.
No other business appearing the Council adjourned at 9 :00 P.M.
