April, 6th. 1933 The regular monthly meetinE: of the Town Council of the Town of Tukwila was held in the Town Hall on the above date at 8 :00 P. M. Those present were Mayor John R and Councilmen B.E. Baker., J. R. Naylor., S. J. Storey and August Thies. The minutes of the last regular meeting were read by the clerk and approved. BILLS Current Expense F�.nd: B. A. Foreman Hall Rent 5.50 J. M. Appleton Treasurer's Exp. 2.00 71.21 Current Water Fund: Seattle Water Dept. Water 110.20 Puget Sound Power Light Co Heating 3.76 J. P. Walkup Supt Pay 30.00 Agnes M. Hall Water Collections 5.00 148.96 After a brief recess called #or tie auditing of the bills the Council was again called to o_cder by th_ mayor to gear the report of '_he Finance Cor;rsnittee. A motion that all the bills be allowed as recorended by the Finance Committee and warrants be drawn for thher respective amounts was made, seconded and Oarr_ed. COMMUNICATIONS The Treasurer's monthly financial report was read by the Clerk and approved. The report of the Water Supt. was read and ordered filed. A letter from the County Auditor naming the Town Officers elected at the general election on March 14. 1933. A letter from Clinton H. Hartson regarding L.'I. sales was read. A motion was made seconded and carried that the recording of th Deed giving the Town title to certain property under L,7.Pi. Sales be held ur until later. A letter from the National Berk of C was read. A motion was made seconded and carried ins tli ?c ,irlg the Treasurer to have either Government State or county Bonds socurin­: the account of the :down in the National bank of Commerce or with dtb6w .the- -acbount. The resignation of the Water Supt. -teas rejected by motion for a period of sixty Jaya. NEW BUSINESS A motion was made seconded and carried instructing the Street Supt. to fill up his gas tank at Town Expense Amotion was made seconded and carried instructing the Street Supt. to purchase brt -sh hooks and axes A motion was made seconded and carried instructing the Clerk to issue a permit to B. A. Foreman under which he might sell legal beer. No other business appearing the council, adjourned at 10.01 P. M.
