POWER OF ATTORNEY
The undersigned are the owners of the condominium apartment
unit described below in Cottage Creek, A Condominium.
r1_ Prior to purchasing this unit, there was an agreement of
�o record stating that the owners of the property would deed two (2)
C3 strips of land and adjoining turn radius area (one, approximately;',
co 20 feet in width, along the northerly boundary and the other;
a approximately;5 feet in width, along the westerly boundary)','as
described on Exhibit "A to the City of Tukwila (the "City for
purposes of construction of a road to be maintained by the'City,'.
The City has now requested that this property be deeded to it.
%0 To do this, the condominium documents need to be amended and a
NO quitclaim deed needs to be executed in favor of the City.
o The purpose of this Power of Attorney is, therefore, to give,
LARRY N. BLAKE_, President, or PHILLIP C. FRICK, Executive -lice
m President, of Affiliated American Corporation, a Washington-
corporation, the power to amend the Condominium Declaration dnd.,'`
the Survey Map and Plan presently of record for Cottage Creek,, A,'.'
C.!n Condominium, to exclude these two (2) strips of land, and to
quitclaim those two (2) strips of land to the City in accordance
with the agreement of record.
1. NOW, THEREFORE, the undersigned, and each 'of them, do'
hereby irrevocably constitute and appoint LARRY N. BLARE or
PHILLIP C. FRICK their true and lawful attorney in their name,
place, and stead, to execute, acknowledge or verify, and file or
record any and all documents which said attorney may deem necessary
or advisable to effect the amendment of the'Condominium Declaration
of Cottage Creek, A Condominium, as well as the Survey Map and
Plan referred to in said Condominium Declaration, in order to`':
remove the real property described on Exhibit A from said
Condominium.
2. The undersigned, and each of them, do further hereby
irrevocably constitute and appoint LARRY N. BLAKE or PHILLIP C.
FRICK their true and lawful attorney in their name, place, and
stead, to execute and acknowledge or verify; and file or record a
quitclaim deed and any and all other documents which said attorney
may deem necessary or advisable to quitclaim any interest the
undersigned have in the real property described on Exhibit "A"' to
the City of Tukwila. As referred to in this Agreement, the
agreement with the City of Tukwila is that agreement which is
dated February 5, 1968, recorded under King County Records No.
6318166, as supplemented.
3. The Condominium referred to above is more particularly
identified as "Cottage Creek, A Condominium the Condominium.
Declaration for which was recorded under King County Recorder's
File No. 7904051096, and the Survey Map and Plan for which was
recorded in Volume 31 of Condominiums, at pages 16 through 26,
under King County Auditor's Fee No. 7904051095.
4. In performing the duties described above, said attorney,
shall have full power and authority to do and perform each and
every act and thing which is either advisable or necessary to be
done in order to fulfill the purposes described above to the same
extent as the undersigned might or could do if personally present.
5. This Power of Attorney shall automatically terminate
and he of no further force or effect upon recording the amendments
