was called to order by the clerk in the absence of Mayor Walkup on
the above date. Those present were Councilmen E. F. Green, J. S.
Storey, B. E. Baker, J. R. Naylor and E. Thompson.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and on motion
were approved and placed on file.

After a brief recess the meeting was called to order to hear
the report of the Finance Committee. The chairman reported all bills
were allowed and on motion the clerk was instructed to draw warrants
for the reapeotive amounts.
The Treasurer's monthly report was read and
placed on file.
The Water Supt. report was read and approved
on file.

budget meeting to be held Monday October 2 to listen to protest, if
any.
A communication from Miss Inez Ross in regards to installing
water meter was referred to water Supt. Thies.
On motion of Counoilman Thompaon the Council voted in favor
of using its efforts to furthering the paving the Three Tree Point
Road and the Clerk was instruoted to co- operate with Mr. Anderson
in furthering the projeot.
Council adjourned at 9:30 P.M.
