Tukwila, Wash. October 5, 1933
The regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of Tukwila
was held in the Town Hall on the above date at 8:00 P. M. Those
Present were Mayor John P. Walkup and Councilmen B. E. Baker, E. F.
Green, J. R. Naylor, J. S. Storey and E. Thompson.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read by the Clerk,
and on motion approved.

The bills were referred to the Finance Committee. After ex-
amination all bills were allowed and on motion the clerk was instruct-
ed to draw warrants for the respective amounts.
The Treasurer's report was then read and on motion was received
and ordered placed on file.
The report of the Water Supt. was read and on motion ordered
placed on file.
Mr. Schools, distric manager of P. S. P. L. Co. was introduced
and after explaining that the lighting contract could not be revised
downward but would be increased $90.00 a year by installing 60W lamps
in place of 40W now in use. After some discussion the Council on mo-
tion decided not to renew the contract and to dispense with the Street
lights for tkr=5!!!N least.
An amendment to the buget ordinanoe was offered and carried
omitting the words *and Street Lighting
The ordinance as amended was placed on its third reading and
final passage receiving the unanimous vote of the Council in its favor.
On motion of the Clerk was instructed to have a telephone in-
stalled for the convenience of City Officials, the same to be charged
to the Town.
The council on motion adjourned at 9:45.P. M.
