Hall on the above date. The meeting was called to order by Mayor
J. P. Walkup at 8 P.M. with a corum present. The minutes of the
previous meeting were read and approved and ordered placed on file.
The following bills were read and referred to the Finnance
Committee:

to draw warrants for the respective amounts.

The water Supt.'s

A communication from the Telephone and Telegraph Co. asking
for permission to install poles on Pacific Ave. was read by the
Clerk. The work had been completed before the communication had
been recieved. The Clerk was instructed to communicate with said
Company and inform them that in the future no ground should be
broken for extension of system until permission had been granted
from proper authority.
The Mayor reported attendance of meeting of Association of
Washington Cities and recommended that the Town of Tukwila should
join the association that we might enjoy and share the benefits
of co- oppertive effort in obtaining our share of the gas tax as
well as beer license The Council on motion voted to join the
association and the clerk was instructed to draw warrant for
•10.00 in payment of one years dues.
The matter of payment of Utility Tax was on motion deferred
for future action.
There being no further business the meeting adjourned at 8 :35 P.
