July 5, 1934 The regular meetin g of the Town Council was held in the Town Hall on the above date. The meeting was called to order by Mayor J. P. Walkup. Those present were D. 8. Dugan, 4. S. Storey, and Eli Thompson. The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved. Current Expense Fund: #10.00 9.00 6.25 2.50 10.00 $37.75 $102 5.00 31.48 9.80 16.50 _1164.78 Report was read and approved and on motion report was read and approved and on motion A communication from the Washington Association of Cities acknowledgIng The Park and Playground Committee reported receipts of dance to date was $47.20. The Street Committee made report that work on streets would be resumed providing Government aid could be secured. The Mayor reported conference with City of Seattle in re- ference to water rates. On motion the Mayor was instructed to continue negotiations along the lines suggested. The Street Supt. reported he had not started on improvement on Warren Ave. as he thought he needed the advice of the Street Committee and asked for further instructions. Action was held over.
