ORDINANCE NO. 167
AMENDED BY ORD 572 An ordinance relating to town firemen and the death
and disability provisions for firemen and their families
under Chapter 261, Laws of 1945, of the State of Wash.
THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF TUKWILA DO ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS;
Section 1. On and after the effective date of Chapter
261 of 1945, all firemen, including volunteer and
fully -paid, shall be entitled to the benefits of the death
and disability provisions provided under Chapter 261.,Laws
of the State of Washington 'of 1945.
Section 2. The Town clerk shall be the secretary- treas-
urer of the Board of Trustees created by said act and shall
enroll each fireman under the death and disability provis-
ions of said law.
Section a;. The volunteer fire department personnel of
the town shall not at any time exceed 25 firemen for each
one thousand 1,000) of population, or fraction thereof
the town's population; PROVIDED,That at no time shall the
membership of the fire department be less than 15 firemen.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect as provided
by law, five days after its passage,approval and publication
