Relocate the City of Tukwila's starrnwater pond;
clean and connect the existing pond to the river,
setback the levee to create up to 7 acres of off
channel habitat.
Primary strategy
Protect, restore and enhance floodplain connectivity.
Benefits:
• Flood risk reduction
• Increased habitat connectivity
• Increased rearing habitat
