of the Town Council was called to order at 8:55 P.M. by Mayor
Walkup. The following councilmen were present: J. S. Storey,
Eli Thomsen and Councilmen elect J. R. Naylor, and A. H.
Heemink, who were duly sworn in to serve for two years.
Mayor Walkup made the following appointments for the ens wing
year:
James Cumming, Clerk
August Thies, St. and Water Supt.
F. E. Henke, Marshall.
J. L. Durbin, Police Judge
The Mayor announced that he would make the committee appoint-
ments for the ensuing year at the next regular meeting.
The clerk was instructed to write Mrs. Elmer Roberts, request-
ing that she remove the tall trees on her property or grant
permission to the town to perform this service.
On motion council changed the meeting date from the first
Thursday to the first Monday in each month. Clerk was in-
structed to notify Councilmen before next meeting.
Council adjourned at 9 :15 P.M.
