Sept. 9, 1936.
The regular meeting of the Town Council was called to order on
the above date by I"ayor Walkup, with the following councilmen
present: J. Naylor, J. S. Storey, Eli_ Thomsen, A. F. FeeL ink,
D. S. Duggan.
The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved.
The report of the Water Superintendent was read and a__-roved.
The reportsof the Treasurer for July and August were read and
approved.
Upon motion the following bills were approved:

The Clerk was instructed to write Mrs. Elmer Roberts about the
trees on her property, also to write Kenworth Motor Truck Corp.
acknowledging receipt of final papers on truck lease.
The .rater Supt. was instructed to make immediate plans for per
menently repairing the pipe line across the river, installing
concrete anchors.
The Street Supt. was instructed to have a substantial railing
installed on Main St. viaduct as part of making necessary re-
pairs to section xi recently torn out. necessary
The clerk was instructed to- get a new lock with four keys fcr
park gate. Councilman i'homsen was appointed custodian of any
keys necessary for groups using the park.
Motion was made that building permits be referred to the Council
or members of the building committee.
On motion it was agreed to allow Dist. '`144 use of the town truck
at 31.00 per hour, district to supply driver, gasoline and oil.
The Street Supt. was instructed to make arran onts for having
the trail cleared of weeds and grass f rom the present end of
Roverside Ave. to the South limits of the town. Also to take care
of necessary repairs to street leading to residence of 1
The. street Supt. was instructed to make arrangements to have grass
and weeds along streets cut with a Plowing machine and also to get
grader on the streets.
Motion waS made to adopt the 1936 budget for 1937 with slight
variations. the Clerk was instructed to prepare same and oost
notices for budget- hearing on the first in October at 10
