Chair Hedrick called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m.
BUSINESS AGENDA
A. Resolution: Allocation to South King Housing and Homelessness Partners (SKHHP)
Staff is seeking approval of a resolution allocating $91,832.00 from the City's existing
contributions to finance affordable housing project as recommended by the SKHHP Board.
Committee Recommendation
Unanimous approval. Forward to March 17, 2025 Regular Consent Agenda.
B. Lodging Tax Funding Request for Juneteenth Commemoration
The Lodging Tax Advisory Committee has recommended funding the City of Tukwila's request
not to exceed $10,000 to support the 5th Annual Juneteenth Commemoration.
Committee Recommendation
Unanimous approval. Forward to March 17, 2025 Regular Consent Agenda.
C. Ordinance: Amending Regulations for Phased Binding Site Improvement Plans (BSIP)
Staff is seeking approval of an ordinance that would streamline the process for BSIPs by
removing the requirement for a development agreement.
Committee Recommendation
Unanimous approval. Forward to March 17, 2025 Regular Consent Agenda.
D. Ordinance: Amending Regulations for Emergency Shelters, Transitional Housing,
Emergency Housing, and Permanent Supportive Housing (STEP).
Staff is seeking approval of an ordinance that would modify STEP Regulations to comply with
recent state requirements.
Committee Recommendation
Unanimous approval. Forward to March 24, 2025 Committee of the Whole.
