S. Duggan, J. R. Naylor, Eli i Thomsen. The report of the Water Department was read and approved. The report of the Treasurer Was read and approved. TTpon request of Hayor Walkup Resolution Ho. 56 endorsing the action of the Consolidated Road committee of T'oster, Riverton, Duwamish and reorgetown was passed. TTpon motion the Water. Superintendent was instructed to call upon Yr. James Head in an endeavor to get him to divert some rent money to his delinquent water bill. The matter of oiling the streets was discussed. The clerk reported that he believed the residents of the streets aff- ected would be willing to pay xi a part of the expense. TTpon motion the Council appropriated 375.00 for the purpose. The Clerk was instructed to collect as much money as possible by asking each resident on the streets to be oiled for a contri- bution of 32.50.
