M INUTES REGULAR MEETING CALL TO ORDER/PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE Mayor McLeod called the Regular Meeting of the Tukwila City Council to order at '700 pm, and led the audience in the Pledge of Allegiance, ROLL CALL Andy Yibun-: arnett, City Clerk, called the roil of the Council, Present at the meeting were Councilmembers Mohamed Abdi (onisite), Armen Papyan (on -site), Jovita McConneI (on -site), Dennis Martinez (on -site), Hannah Hedrick (virtual); nd Verna Seal (ornsite), MOVED BY MARTINEZ, SECONDED BY PAPYAN TO EXCUSE THE ABSENCE OF COUNCIL PRESIDENT SHARP. MOTION CARRIED 6-0. A resolution adopting the 2025 Local Road Safety Plan (LRSP) and committing to Vision Zero transportation safety goails.IRESOILUTIION NO. 2114 [Reviewed and forwarded to consent by the Committee of the Whole on 444/251 Puget Sound Regional Fire Authority (PSRFA): [Reviewed and forwarded to consent by the Committee of the Whole on 4/14125,1 (1) Authorize the Mayor to execute a lease with Puget Sound Regional Fire Authority (PSRFA) for Fire Station 51 in the amount of $1 per year for 50 years with all utilities, maintenance, improvements„ and repairs to be paid for by PSRFA, (2) Authorize the Mayor to execute a Sate Deed with Puget Sound Regional Fire Authority (PSRFA) for Fire Station 52 in the amount of $1 to automatically revert back to the city if no longer used to deploy regional fire authority response units, Authorize the Mayor to execute a lease with Puget Sound Regional Fire Authority (PSRFA) to lease back various rooms at Fire Station 52 in the amount of $1 per year for up to 20 hours per week to renew automatically unless terminated, (4) Authorize the Mayor to execute a Sale Deed with Puget Sound Regional Fire Authority (PSRFA) for Fire Station 53 in the amount of $1 to automatically revert, back to the city if no longer wised to deploy regional fire authority response units, Authorize the Mayor to execute a lease with Puget Sound Regional Fire Authority (PSRFA) for Fire Station 54 in the amount of $1 per year for 15 years with all, utilities, maintenance, improvements, and repairs to be paid for by PSRFA, h. An ordinance granting to Ezee Fiber Texas, LLC, and its affi)iates, successors and assigns, the right, privilege, authority and nonexclusive franchise for five years„ to construct, maintain, operate, replace and repair a telecommunications network, in, across, over along, under„ through and below certain designated public rights -of -way of the City of Tukwila, Washington, ORDINANCE NO. 2575 [Reviewed and forwarded to consent by the Committee of the Whole on 4114/25) (3) (5) MOVED BY MCCONNELL SECONDED BY MARTINEZ TO APPROVE THE CONSENT AGENDA AS SUIMITTED. MOTION CARRIED 6-0. REPORTS a. Mayor Mayor McLeod recently toured the Bow Lake Transfer Station and Amazon facility by the Museum of Flight. b. City Council Councilmember Hedrick gays kudos to Parks and Recreation staff and offered a reminder regarding the upcoming blood donation drive that will be held at City Hall on April 30, 2025 from 10.00 a,m, — 400 p,m, c. Staff Brandon Miles, interim City Administrator/Director of Strategic Initiatives and Government Relations, referenced the City Administrator's Report in the agenda packet. ADJOURNMENT 7:22 P.M.
