to order by Mayor Walkup with the following Councilmen present:
T. R. Naylor, J. S. Storey, D. S. Duggan, August Thies.
The report of the Water Superintendent was read and approved.
The report of the Treasurer for July was read and approved. The
report of the Treasurer for August was read and approved with one
exception. The August bond and interest payment of $1084.50 should
be taken from the sinking fund and not from the water fund. The
treasurer has made the necessary correction.
Upon motion the following bills were approved.
Current Expense Find:
R. B. Latimer, Salary clerk and postage $11.00
Samuel Neal, Salary Treas. 6.25
B. A. Foreman, Hall rent 2.50
American Surety Co. Bonds 10.00
Trick Murray, Printing and Supplies 8.80 38.55
'Current Street Fund:
R. B. Latimer, Salary. St. Supt. $35.00
Roy Rector, Gas Oil 5.80
Schwabacher Hdw. Co. Lawn Mower 10.67 51.47
Current later Fund:

Motion was made to adopt the 1937 budget for 1938 with slight variations.
The clerk was instructed to prepare same and post notices for budget
hearing on the first Monday in October at 10 A.M.
Council adjourned at 9 :15 P.M.
