The People's Project
Your idea. Your voice. Your Tukwila.
The People's Project is Tukwila's first -ever Participatory Budgeting (PB)
initiative, giving residents the power to decide how to invest in their
community. We've set aside $50,000 to fund small, resident -driven
projects like benches, water fountains, public art, or safety
improvements —and we want your ideas.
Sign up for email updates, including your interest in serving on the
resident -led steering committee at the link below. Get notified when it's
time to apply to the steering committee, submit ideas, vote, and see
project updates. Those selected to take part in a resident -led committee
will help design a fair, inclusive process for collecting ideas and holding a
public vote.
