1. Call to Order: The meeting was called to order at 6:02 PM
2. Roll Call
a. Board Members: Cynthia Chesak, Verna Seal, Steve Miller, Gerie Ventura, Marie Parrish, Robin

• City of Tukwila Staff: John Dunn, Recreation Superintendent
• King County Library System Staff: Steven Bailey, Library Services Manager; Mary Sue

3. Land Acknowledgement — Steve Miller read the land acknowledgement:

4. Approval of Agenda and Minutes — April 1, 2025
a. Agenda: Verna Seal motioned to approve the agenda. Cynthia Chesak seconded the motion to
approve the agenda; all were in favor.
b. Minutes: Robin Boland motioned to approve the minutes. Verna Seal seconded the motion to
approve the minutes; all were in favor.

6. Unfinished Business
a. 2024 wrap up — Verna Seal reported she is finishing up the report. Will be completed by next
meeting.
b. Website Project — John Dunn shared the first couple of online web pages.
