Nov. 1, 1937 The regular meeting of the Council of the Town of Tukwila was called to order by Mayor Walkup with the following Councilmen present: J. R. Naylor, J. S. Storey, Eli Thomsen, D. S. Duggan. August Thies. The report of the Water Superintendent was read and approved. The T'reasurer's report for October was read and approved. Upon motion the following bills were approved: Current Expense Fund: R. B. Latimer, Salary Clerk $10.00 Samuel Neal, Salary Treas. 6.25 B. A. Foreman, Hall rent 2.50 18.72 Current Street Fund: R. B. Latimer, Salary St.Supt. $35.00 Roy Rector, Gas Oil 5.80 Trick Murray, Highway vouchers 1.38 42.18 Current later Fund: R. E. Latimer,Sal. Water Supt. &Exp $30.54 Alice Neal, Salary Water Coll. 5.00 City of Seattle, Water Service 79.50 115.04 Upon motion the council instrtcted the Supt. of the Water Department to charge off the following bills as being out -laved or uncollectible: Inez E. Ross, J. T. Mead, J. A. Banks, J. W. Hancock, H. M. Clark, and L. B. Nelson, making a total of $176.56 Mayor Walkup gave a very interesting report of the Regional meeting of the Association of Washington Cities which was held at puyallup. Mayor Walkup appointed Councilmen Storey, Naylor, and Thomsen as a committee to investigate the Pin Ball Vachines in Tukwila to determine the amount of license each machine should pay to the Town of Tukwila Council adjourned at 9:05 P.M.
