MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING
BETWEEN
THE CITY OF TUKWILA
AND TEAMSTERS LOCAL UNION NO. 117
(REPRESENTING POLICE SERGEANTS)
The City of Tukwila and the Teamsters Local Union No. 117 representing Police
Sergeants agree as follows:
Sergeant Ceith Cullens' hours of work shall be changed from 4 days a week, 10
hours a day to 5 days a week, 8 hours a day.
2. This MOU is intended to apply solely to Det. Cullens and is not intended to
change the hours of work for any other employee.
3. This MOU is specific to Sergeant Cullens and does not establish a precedent.
4. This Agreement is not intended to modify or alter the language of Article 4.2 of
the parties' current CBA.
During the term of this MOU, either party may terminate this agreement by
providing written notice to the other party. In the event this agreement is
terminated, Sergeants Cullens' hours of work shall return to 4 days a week, 10
hours a day.
6. Sergeant Cullens shall be paid at the rate of time and one-half his regular pay for
the first three (3) hours more than his regularly assigned schedule (5-8) and
beginning the fourth (4"') hour at the rate of two (2) times his regular rate of pay.
7. All other provisions of the current CBA not specifically addressed in this MOU
must remain in full power and effect.
8. This MOU shall terminate at the expiration of the current CBA dated January 1,
2025 — December 31, 2027.
This Memorandum of Understanding is entered into on the 30th day of June 2025.
