Reason for Change
Based on our initial project scope and allocated Professional Service Hours, OpenGov is now
expecting the need for additional Professional Services Hours to complete the original Scope of
Work.
The original Scope of Work (SOW) for this project included 303 Professional Service (PS) hours. That
SOW included the following deliverables:
• Chart of Accounts
• Operating Budget
• Workforce Planning
• Capital Budget
• Online Budget Book
• Community Feedback
• Financial Integration
• Reporting & Transparency
Scope of Change
• We have added the following to the Statement of Work:
o Travel and Training for Budget End User Training Onsite [2 Days]
• Working with the customer and the OpenGov project team, we have determined a need for
additional hours to complete the following deliverables in the Statement of Work:
o Travel & Training for Budget End User Training Onsite [2 Days]
• In working with the customer and the OpenGov team, these services will be billed as a one-
time fixed fee. OpenGov estimates this effort will take 80 additional PS hours for the
completion of the project. This will be billed at $220 /hour + $5,600 standard fee for travel
and stay (Total Amount: $23,200)
o Due to the late cost post -sale the rate was brought down from $280/hr to $220/hr.
o In the event these hours are not sufficient, OpenGov will require additional PS hours
to be added via a subsequent change order.
Project Impact (Schedule and Cost)
• Based on the above work, OpenGov/City of Tukwila, WA will reevaluate and solidify an
updated timeline.
• Estimated 80 additional PS hours for the completion of the project. This will be billed at
$220/hour, as a one-time fixed fee + onsite travel & stay at $5,600 (total amount:
$23,200.
