• Ice Breaker Activity to Continue to Get to Know One Another
Commissioners learned more about each other.
• HealthPoint Clinic Phase and Community Feedback 1— Sherry Williams
Commissioners received a presentation from guest Sherry Williams, HealthPoint Vice
President of Community Engagement and External Relations. They learned about the
planning and building of a new clinic on Tukwila International Boulevard. Ground
breaking is anticipated in the spring of 2026. A Phase 2 plan includes a community
center. See attached handouts for details. Commissioners offered support to reach
community members for further engagement opportunities.

Relationship building in the community:
• Councilmember listening sessions — CM McConnell and Kathy Hougardy, Jo reported a plan
in partnership with the Tukwila Library to convene community leaders at the library to

develop relationships and exchange information. If ongoing, there's an opportunity to
include councilmembers in discussions.
• Pride Month — CM McConnell and Lina Stinson -Ali, No report
• Juneteenth, Thursday, June 19 —Jo Anderson and Joe Duffie, Planning is underway
• World Refugee Day, Saturday, June 28 — Jo Anderson , Planning is underway
• Veteran's Day —Tabled until closer to the date
Awareness, Forums, Trainings:
• Racial Restrictive Covenants — Aaron Draganov and Kristen Schwabe -Fry, A new contact was
made with the University of Washington
• Know Your Rights — Chief Eric Drever to come to the April meeting

• Support Human Resources Recruitment — High School Summer Internship Program update
• Equitable Board & Commission Recruitment and Selection — Current Appointment Process,

• Jo provided an update about the State of the City — Aaron and Fane will represent ESJC
