Help save a life! Donate blood at City Hall on
August 15, 2025
There’s a summer blood shortage happening and
Bloodworks Northwest needs our help! Summer is
a season of more adventures and more accidents.
Right now, blood supplies are running low. Blood
donors of all types are urgently needed, especially
Type O blood for trauma patients who can't
wait. Giving blood is easy to do and saves lives in
our local hospitals.
The City of Tukwila will be holding a blood drive in
the Council Chamber at City Hall on August 15
from 10:00am t0 4:00pm.
During our summer blood shortage season, there's
no better way to show you care than by becoming
a blood donor. The entire process takes about an
hour, but the actual donation only takes around 10
minutes—perfect for a lunch break.
