NOTICE OF APPOINTMENT FOR CITY COUNCIL POSITION 6
COUNCILMEMBER PRO TEM
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that applications for Tukwila City Council Position No. 6 pro
tem will be accepted through Friday, August 15, 2025 no later than 5:00 p.m. This is an
appointed position due to the incumbent’s excused absence. The duration of the appointment
will be until the incumbent returns, resigns, or the position’s term of office expires on
12/31/27. To be eligible for the position an applicant must be registered to vote in Tukwila and
a resident of Tukwila for at least one year prior to the date of appointment.
