called to order at 8:00 P.M. by Mayor J.P. Walkup with the following
councilmen present.
J.R. Naylor Carl Lee
August Thies Eli Thompson
Minutes of the_last meeting read and approved.
Report of: the Treasurer was read and approved.
The report of the water Supt. was read and approved.
Mayor J.P. ,ialkup announced the appointment of Palph J. Ives acting
clerk, acting street supt., and acting water supt replacin Ulair
L. Popejoy resigned.
Moved seconded and carried that the following' bills be approved and
paid.
CURRENT WATER FUND
Earl Thies labor on water line
National meter Co meter and parts 4051
V. Laine labor on water line 1.75
Clair Popejoy water line and meter labor 8.00
Mill and Mine Supply Co. pipe joints and rope 9.62
Lois T. Newton salary of water Collector 5.00
J. E. Caldwell labor on water line 3.00
CURRENT STREET FUND
M. L. Edwards gas and machine pipe guides 3.03
On motion the proposed budget for the year of 1940 was placed
on second reading Motion carried.
On motion budget was placed on third reading and finial passage
ROLL GALL WAS TAKEN.

Andy Benberg entered a complaint regarding excess meter reading.
The water suet was instructed to make a check of Benbergs meter.
Street Supt. was requested to report on drainage condition on
Highland Drive in fron of Nordstroms property.
No further business appearing Council adjourned at 9.25 P.R.
