NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Tukwila City Council will hold a public hearing on the item
listed below on Monday, August 25, 2025, beginning at 7:00 p.m. at the following telephone

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, UPDATING CANNABIS USE
REGULATIONS; AMENDING ORDINANCE NOS. 2741 §3
(PART) AND 2765 §87; AS CODIFIED AT TUKWILA
MUNICIPAL CODE TUKWILA MUNICIPAL CODE (TMC)
CHAPTER 18.06, "DEFINITIONS," AND TMC SECTION
18.50.210; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND
ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
The purpose of the draft ordinance is to expand the allowable zones for cannabis
businesses to include RCM, TUC -CC and TUC-WP, increase building safety
requirements, and potentially modify buffer distances.
For those unable to attend the meeting either on -site or remotely, you may submit written
testimony to the City Clerk's office until 5:00 p.m. on the day of the meeting.
