Our department would like to extend its appreciation to you for you and your team's time and
effort in the execution of City of Tukwila Contract 25-241 for the resurfacing of the sport courts
located at Duwamish Park in the City of Tukwila at 11646 42nd Ave S. However, the city's
needs and scope for the work to be completed have changed and it is our understanding that
the newly desired work cannot be done by your organization.
Therefore, at this time, the city shall exercise its termination rights per the terms outlined in
Section 10 of our contract, with our official contract termination date becoming thirty (30) days
within receipt of this written notice. Given that no work has occurred at this time, no payment
shall be issued in the closeout of our agreement.
Please note, your organization remains in good standing with the City of Tukwila and eligible to
bid and/or respond to future requests for proposals made by the City of Tukwila Parks and
Recreation Department and/or any other city departments that may solicit said work.
