HomeMy WebLinkAboutRes 1765 - 2012 City-wide Work PlanCity of Tukwila Washington No. 17 65 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, ADOPTING A CITY -WIDE WORK PLAN FOR 2012. WHEREAS, at the Council Retreat in February 2012, discussion occurred regarding the benefits of a formalized work plan for the City; and WHEREAS, the administration of the City of Tukwila, in conjunction with the City Council, has developed a City -Wide Work Plan for 2012; and WHEREAS, the City -Wide Work Plan is guided by the City's mission statement and defines priority projects for allocation of staff time and resources in 2012; and WHEREAS, a work plan will encourage collaborative efforts, provide purpose and direction, and increase efficiency and effectiveness in achieving established goals; and WHEREAS, the plan may be amended, and any commitment of funds and resources will be made through the City's budget process; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: The City Council hereby adopts the 2012 City -Wide Work Plan, attached hereto as Exhibit A.
