The regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of
Tukwila was called to order at WO P.M. by R.J. Ives
with the following councilmen present.
J.R. Naylor Carl Lee
August Thies Eli Thompson
Due to Mayor Walkups absence Mr. Eli Thompson was elected
to act as Mayor for the meeting.
Minutes of the last meeting was read and approved.
Report of the Treasurers was read and approved.
Report of the Water Superintendent was read and approved.
Moved seconded and carried that the following bills be
paid,
election supplies
purchase order books
town hall light for Sept.
Town Hall light for Feb.
town hall light for July
Trea. salary for march
Sal. Postage for March
SEATTLE WATER DEPT. water used in Feb.
LOIS T. NEWTON water coll. sal. for march
R.J. IVES water supt sal. postage
MILL MINE SUPPLY CO. renforcing steel
FRANK E. RHODES tire and tube for truck
C. HARRY WILLIAMS INC. truck insurance
NORTHWESTERN MUT. FIRE ASS. truck insurance
CLAUDE ITEN gravel delivered and spread on roads
HI -LINE LUMBER CO. lumber for Bard rail
ROY RECTOR gas for truck

The discussion on new water bills was left till
meeting.
Moved seconded and carried that the Sidewalk be
Engle Hill as Mr. Dickson had it staked out.

Mr. Thies was instructed to take care of the digging of
ditch and laying of water line on Clarks land.
Moved seconed and carried that the garbage disposal be
placed on the table until we get our water bonds paid
off.
Moved seconded and carried that we purchase our (sand,
gravel cement) from Stoneway Dock Co at these prices
Cement for 2.75 a barrel delivered at the Town Hall.
Sand and gravel for 1.25 a Yrd. spotted on the job.
