special meeting af TUkuila Town Courmil was called to:
order at 9:45 A.M. by Mayor Walkup.
Present were cauncilmen„
J.R.NayIar Eii Thamsan D.S.Duggan.
The meetin; was called as an emergency Defense Meeting ta
take measures to probtect life and property in Tukwila.
A. motianwass made and carried to install a telephone in. the

nration was made by Mr Naylor and seconded by Mr Thomson
that M? Brewer and Mr Henke act as wardens on 2.4 hr.basis
until further help be obtained, also that they be reimbursed
for gas and any other expenses incurred during patrol du .y,
The motian was carried,
Clerk was aaked ta order Town Marshal and deputy Marshall badges
Amotion waa made that Tukwila purchase a n air raid siren and
roll was called with these replies,
Naylor yas„ Thomson yes. Duggan yes,
Clerk was asked ta camtact the Womens Auxiliary to repreaert
the. Council in regard to any help necessary.
The question of the water supply was talked over and tabled
for further information,.
