MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING
By and between
CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON
And
TEAMSTERS LOCAL UNION NO. 117
REPRESENTING THE CITY OF TUKWILA POLICE OFFICERS GUILD
Effective October 1, 2025
This Memorandum of Understanding ("MOU") is by and between the CITY OF TUKWILA,
Washington (hereinafter referred to as the "Employer") and the TEAMSTERS LOCAL UNION NO.
117, affiliated with the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, which is representingthe Tukwila
Police Officers Guild under a Service Agreement effective January 1, 2025 (hereinafter referred to
as the "Union") (the Employer and Union are referred to collectively as "the Parties"). The
Employer and the Guild (Police Commissioned) have a Labor Agreement in effect for 2025-2027
(Contract 25-068) ("Agreement")
The Union members have elected by majority vote to make a monthly contribution to VEBA ("the
Plan") that will be payroll deducted from their wages on a monthly basis as follows:
Effective October 1, 2025 = $100
Deducted at $50 per paycheck
It is agreed by both parties that the Plan design in its entirety shall be reviewed as needed, but
no more frequently than every three years, starting in 2027.
All other terms of the Agreement will remain in full force and effect for the duration of this MOU.
