CaII to Order/LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT: The City of Tukwila is located on the ancestral lands of the Coast Salish
people. We acknowledge their continuing connections to land, waters, and culture. We pay our respect to their elders
past, present and emerging.

o Festival Update
Pinky EstelV:
Baker oulevard has been identified as the preferred location.
Are we able to use funds from the 44Culture Grant (Farmers Market: staff will
determine.)?
• The next step will be to finalize the project proposal and key stakeholders.
o Portrait Project Update
• Photo of Jan Bolerjack (Status): Verna will attempt to get pictures of Jan„
• Contract to be done in 2025 (Staff): Staff will check iro with portrait artist Gloria Alberto.
• New Business
o Hoa Kong's paintings at Spice Bridge. With the closure of the food incubator, there is interest in
reclaiming the works of art that were funded by the .Tukwila Arts Commission. Sheila will investigate the
status of the paintings.

o Art Commission Spring Update: March 10 Community Services & Safety Committee Meeting (packet due
March 4)
The commission will have :L0..20 minutes.

• Verna will Dead the presentation. Sheila will be attending.
• Staff will draft a PowerPoirnt and send out a calendar invite.
