1. Call to Order: LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT: The City of Tukwila is located on the ancestral lands of the
Coast Salish people. We acknowledge their continuing connections to land, waters, and culture. We pay
our respect to their elders past, present and emerging.

o Review Grant Program
■ Use of 1% funds (adherence to TMC) and 2025 TAC Budget ($2000)

■ Photo of Jan Bolerjack: A photo still needs to be taken.
• Staff will develop a contract with Gloria Alberto.
• New Business
o Verna wiII explore the commission presenting to the City Council.
o 1% for Arts Fund: In the first quarter of 2025, staff will meet with the department fiscal
analyst to determine the current balance and schedule a presentation with the analyst
to present to the TAC to map out budgeting and the long-term use of the fund.
o Rainier Symphony: Cynthia Chesak brought up the need for ongoing symphony support
so that they may continue using the Foster High School Performing Arts Center.
