1. Call to Order: LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT: The City of Tukwila is located on the ancestral lands of the
Coast Salish people. We acknowledge their continuing connections to land, waters, and culture. We pay
our respect to their elders past, present and emerging.

o Review Grant
■ Pat Bako will have an updated draft for the November meeting.
o Festival Update:
■ Pinky Estell and Shawn Belyea selected Baker Boulevard as the festival location.
■ LTAC is seen as a source of funding.
o Portrait Project Update:
® Michael May will draft a contract for artist Gloria Alberto.
® Verna Seal will secure a photographer to photograph Tukwila's first resident
subject, Jan Bolerjack, for the artist to work with.
o Tukwila School District Utility Boxes
■ Michael May will research if any are viable candidates.
