NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City's Arts Commission will meet on September 17, 2025, at 6 p.m.
This meeting will be held in person and on Teams in the Executive Conference Room at the Tukwila Community Center,
12424 42nd Avenue South. For questions, please call the Arts Commission Staff Liaison, Michael May, at 206-767-2342.

Call to Order/LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT: The City of Tukwila is located on the ancestral lands of the Coast Salish
people. We acknowledge their continuing connections to land, waters, and culture. We pay our respect to their elders
past, present and emerging.

• Grey Ellis, the Teen Art Collective consultant, recruited teens during the lunch hours on September 9.
• Gloria Alberto has completed the portrait of Jan Bolerjack. He has been paid the $1000 stipend.
• The commission has been invited to lead an artist selection process for a new mural at Duwamish Park. The
mural will be on the surface of the sport court. The desired installation is Spring 2026.
