Call to Order — Terra Straight, Chair Chairperson Terra Straight called the meeting to order at 10:04am. 2. Approval of Agenda Julie Herdt motioned to approve the February 20, 2025 meeting agenda. Marilyn Westman seconded the motion. All in favor; motion carried. 3. Approval of Minutes Jan Bolerjack motioned to approve the December 12, 2024 meeting minutes. Julie Herdt seconded the motion. All in favor; motion carried. 4. Update on 2025-26 Funding Cycle — Stacy Hansen A. Staff are managing 28 internal contracts with agencies in addition to 9 joint MOUs with other cities. Contract meetings are ongoing with only 7 remaining. We are creating contracts and meeting with funded agencies to discuss their scope of work. B. Any contracts above 60k must go through City Council. Stacy will present to the Community Services and Safety Committee in March. Human Services Advisory Committee Meeting Agenda Page 2 of 2 5. 2025 Work Plan Discussion Members discussed an interest in having program presentations from agencies and individuals. A. Terra Straight expressed an interest in hearing from board member Fatumo Farah about her work as a mental health crisis responder. B. Fatumo Farah wants to hear from the Police Department's mental health co - responders. C. Julie Herdt would like to hear more about the positive updates and successes of agencies and the rent/utility assistance program. D. Jan Bolerjack wants to hear an update from NW Harvest/Food Lifeline. E. Marilyn Westman would like to learn more about WA Mass, IRC, and ORIA. F. Board members collectively expressed interest in hearing from newly -funded agencies including Still Waters, Aerospace Joint Apprenticeship Committee, and NW Education Access. 6. Information & Member Sharing A. Jan Bolerjack shared the pantry has very little protein available. B. Julie Herdt shared an update from the Tukwila School District which has had safety planning and trainings. 7. Adjournment — Terra Straight, Chair Terra Straight adjourned the meeting at 12:01pm.
