Civil Service Commission Meeting Minutes

The regular monthly meeting of the Civil Service Commission was held on July 18, 2024, at 5:00pm, at 6300
Southcenter Blvd, Tukwila, WA, Duwamish Conference Room.
The following were in attendance:
• Chairperson, Tom Morris and Commissioner, Brennan Wilson
• Members: Eric Lund, TC Croone, Kari Sand, J.L. Eric Dreyer, Joy Maldonado

IL Approval of meeting minutes from June 18, 2024
▪ How are new hires notified about civil service?
• HR's responsibility to provide new hires with a copy of Civil Service Rules during New Hire
Orientatio on their start date, this will be effective immediately as well as provide to new hires
who have not received a copy of Civil Service Rules.
Eligibility lists were signed for the following:
• Police Sergeant
• Entry Level Police Officer
New Commissioner, Tim Collins to start in August 2024
