Civil Service Commission Meeting Minutes

The regular monthly meeting of the Civil Service Commission was held on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at 5:00
pm, at 6300 Southcenter Blvd., Tukwila, WA, Duwamish Conference Room.
The following were in attendance:
Commissioner Brennan Wilson, & Commissioner Tim Collins
Absent: Chairperson Tom Morris
Civil Service Secretary and Chief Examiner: Joy Maldonado
Police staff: Eric Dreyer (Chief), Eric Lund
HR Staff: TC Croone
Attorney: Kari Sand, J.D.

II. Approval of meeting minutes from October 2024
III. Business Items
a. December 2024, Civil Service Meeting to be canceled
b. Testing for Lateral and Certified Entry Level Police Officer to move to PST - in the process of
transitioning, update to be reported in January Civil Service Meeting.
c. Secretary report on the destruction/archival of old records -- Records are archived and/or
destroyed in accordance with the Washington State Archives retention schedule. There are no
records to destroy at this time.
