Civil Service Commission Meeting Minutes
Thursday, February 20, 2025, at 5:00 PM
The regular monthly meeting of the Civil Service Commission was held on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at 5:00
pm, at 6300 Southcenter Blvd., Tukwila, WA, Duwamish Conference Room.
The following were in attendance:
Commissioner Brennan Wilson, & Commissioner Tim Collins, Chairperson Tom Morris
Civil Service Secretary and Chief Examiner: Joy Maldonado
Police staff: Chief of Police Eric Dreyer
HR Staff: TC Croone
Attorney: Kari Sand, J.D.

Call to order by Chairperson Brennan Wilson at 5:00 pm
II. Approval of meeting minutes from January 2025
Ill. Business Items
a. Rule V. Classification. Section 2. The City Attorney will draft a new version of Chairperson
Wilson's suggestions and send it to him for review. Table the motion to revisit Chairperson
Wilson's suggestions until the April Civil Service meeting.
b. Rule II. Section 1. Chairperson Wilson motioned to move the commission start date from
January to April to mirror language in the TMC. Motioned tabled till March meeting.
IV. Eligibility lists were signed for the following: Entry Level Police Officer
