Meeting called to order at 5:32pm
1. Approval of 7/10/25 Minutes
a. Did not have a quorum to approve minutes
2. Chief's Updates
a. DC Lund gave Chief's report, reviewed incidents and gave update on park
ranger position.
3. SPIDR Report
a. Deputy Chief Lund shared a summary of the SPIDR report for the previous
month.
4. Police Award
a. The proposed Police Award was discussed. It was announced that two city
council members each offered to support the project financially up to $250
each
b. Discussion included suggestion of a plaque, a gift card to the award recipient,
cookies or treats for all officers/staff, frequency & timing of award,
nomination by Chief Dreyer & DC Lund, announcement in Hazelnut and at
city council meeting. Discussion to be continued at a future meeting.

6. Good Of The Order
a. Discussion on how to obtain new COPCAB members including school
representative and business rep.

Meeting called to order at 5:30pm
1. Approval of 7/10/25 & 8/14/25 Minutes
a. Did not have a quorum to approve minutes — Postponed to October's meeting.
2. Community Engagement Report
a. Focus on patrolling trails, dealing with encampments. Figuring out who owns
the land along the river
b. Pursuing gaps in municipal code regarding camping
3. Chiefs Updates
a. Chief Dreyer gave report on the various vacant positions in the PD, as well as
the PD operational updates.
4. Police Award
a. Decided to award it annually, sometime in late spring. Chiefs will share
nominations to COPCAB.
