SPECIAL MEETING
CALL TO ORDER/PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Special Meeting
September 22, 2025 - 7:00 P.M.
In the absence of Mayor McLeod and Council President Sharp, Armen Papyan, Mayor Pro Tempore,
called the Special Meeting of the Tukwila City Council to order at 745 p.m. directly following the
Committee of the Whole meeting,
ROLL CALL
Andy Youn-Barnett, City Clerk, called the roll of the Council, Present at the meeting were Councilmembers
Mohamed Abdi (virtual), Armen Papyan (on -site), Dennis Martinez (on -site), Hannah Hedrick (onesite),
Verna Seal (on -site), and Joe Torres Camacho (on -site).
MOVED BY MARTINEZ, SECONDED BY HEDRICK TO EXCUSE THE ABSENCE OF COUNCIL
PRESIDENT SHARP. MOTION CARRIED 6-0,

c. Authorize, the Mayor to sign a grant agreement with tee LOW- .nc.:orne, Housing Institute to establish a
tiny home village on property owned by the Church by the Side of the Road, in the amount of
$577,722.00, with final form to be approved by. the City Attorney's Office

MOVED BY SEAL, SECONDED BY HEDRICK TO APPROVE THE CONSENT AGENDA AS
SUBMITTED. MOTION CARRIED 6-0.
