I. BUSINESS AGENDA
A. Resolution adopting Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan
This item is being postponed to October per the Chair's request.
B. Interlocal Agreement Amendment: Valley Narcotics Enforcement Team
Staff is seeking approval of an amendment to the VNET Interlocal Agreement to remove the
Port of Seattle and City of Seattle and other minor updates.
Committee Recommendation:
Unanimous approval. Forward to September 15, 2025 Regular Consent Agenda.
C. Grant Acceptance: Mental Health Co -Response
Staff is seeking approval to accept $267,750 from the Washington Association of Sheriffs and
Police Chiefs Mental Health Field Response grant program to contribute to the cost of the Co -
Responder program.
Committee Recommendation:
Unanimous approval. Forward to September 15, 2025 Regular Consent Agenda.
D. Grant Acceptance: Tukwila Community Center Riverside Campus and Canoe Launch
Staff is seeking approval to accept $1,810,000 from the Washington Recreation and
Conservation Office Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program Water Access Grant
program for the project.
Committee Recommendation:
Unanimous approval. Forward to September 15, 2025 Regular Consent Agenda.
E. Contract Amendment: Parks Security Services
Staff is seeking approval to amend the contract with B-Force Protection Services in the
amount of $22,527.36 to extend service through the end of 2025.
