Mark from Explore Seattle
Southside presented a request
for $8,000 in 2025 and $30,000
in 2026 for an incentive
program to attract rate
sensitive meetings,
conferences, and conventions
as described in the application.
Jim asked questions and
proposed increasing the
amount for 2026 to equal
$60,000.
Jean asked questions and
expressed interest to increase
the 2026 amount.
Jim moved approval of the
request in the amount of
$8,000 for 2025 and $60,000 in
2026. Jean seconded. Motion
passed.
